Job Description:
- Administration of Windows systems running Windows MS Server (2012, 2008, 2003).
- Installations of new software and system upgrades including evaluation and
- installation of Microsoft patches.
- Provide Active Directory Administration, provision user accounts and group permissions, Perform Doman controller maintenance.
- Perform security hardening via group policies, local policies, scripting, etc., Provide on-call support on a rotational basis as assigned.
- Administer and troubleshoot MS Exchange 2010, 2013, including DAG. Perform Exchange disaster recovery testing.
- Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks are created, and media is recycled and sent off site as necessary.
- Manage VMware infrastructure including performance tuning, capacity planning, and policy creation.
- Manage a VMware environment of Linux and Windows servers.
- Good hands on Experience in diagnostics & troubleshooting of ESX server environment.
- Experience managing virtual environments.
- Experience installing and integrating various applications.
- Restore data and re-configure systems when required.
- Build and run scripts (preferably PowerShell) to manage/automate tasks related to VMWare and Windows platforms.
- Participate in after-hours weekly shifts that responds to business emergency requests.
- Co-ordinate, configure and Install network configurations, softwares etc. Configure Cisco switches, routers and make sure the cables are connected properly.
- Ability to create back up strategies for the data and recovery plan for the network.
- Familiarization with Cisco networking principles.
- Monitoring the network is another duty and give prompt support when any issue pops up.
- Analyze traffic behaviors to great extent and Find out the issues and solve it.
- Resolve escalated issues from the IT Service Desk.
- Actively monitor systems.
