recruitment of 25 vacant posts, and these vacancies are present in
various departments such as junior technician, junior laboratory

Age limit: candidates should satisfy the age limits as mentioned below.
For Junior Technical Superintendent: Candidates age should be less than 35 years as on 1st march 2015.
For Junior Laboratory Assistant: Candidates age should be less than 32 years as on 1st march 2015.
For Junior Technician: Candidates age should be less than 32 years as on 1st march 2015.
Educational Qualification:
For Junior Technical Superintendent: Candidate must have passed Diploma
in Engineering/ B. Tech/ BE/BCA/ M. Sc degree or its equivalent
qualification with 55% marks in connected subject.
For Junior Technician: Candidate must have passed Diploma in
Engineering/ B. Tech/ BE/BCA/ M. Sc degree or its equivalent
qualification with 55% marks in connected subject.
For Junior Laboratory Assistant: Candidate must have passed Bachelor’s
degree in science with at least 55% marks or its equivalent
qualification.
Pay scale:
For Junior Technical Superintendent: selected aspirants would be given a
salary of Rs. 9300-34800/- with Grade pay Rs. 4200/- per month
For Junior Technician: selected aspirants would be given a salary of Rs. 5200-20200/- with Grade pay Rs. 2000/- per month
For Junior Laboratory Assistant: selected aspirants would be given a
salary of Rs. 5200-20200/- with grade pay Rs. 2000/- per month.
Fee: all general candidates have to pay application fee of Rs.500/- in
the form of DD drawn in favor of Registrar, IIT Bhubaneswar payable at
Bhubaneswar from any one of the scheduled commercial bank. No fee for
SC/ST/PWD/ women candidates.
Selection Procedure: selection of aspirants will be made on the performance in written test, trade test and personal interview.
