DHFWS Recruitment Notification 2015: DHFWS (District Health & Family
Welfare Samti) Hooghly has released the official notification for the
recruitment of 50 block ASHA facilitator posts and these vacancies are
going to recruit through contract basis. So in order to fill up all
these vacancies with eligible and appropriate candidates it has issued
the recruitment notification and inviting applications

Block Accounts Manager (BAM): 01 post
Data Processing Assistant (DPA): 01 post
ICTC Lab Technician: 03 posts
ICTC Counselor: 05 posts
Blood Bank Counselors: 3 posts
STI Counselors: 01 post
Block ASHA facilitator: 36 posts
Age limit: Candidate’s age should
be 40 years as on 1st January 2015 and age relaxation would be
applicable to all reserved category candidates.
Education qualification: candidates must have education qualification as mentioned below.
For Block Accounts Manager (BAM): candidates must have bachelor degree
in commerce from any recognized university with advance knowledge of
computer especially in ms word, power point, xl, internet browsing &
accounting software, eg. Tally.
For Data Processing Assistant (DPA): candidates must have graduate
degree from ugc recognized university, non computer degree aspirants
must have diploma certificate in computer for minimum duration of 01
(one) year from any recognized institute/organization.
For ICTC Lab Technician: candidates must have graduate in medical
laboratory technology (b.sc), along with minimum 01 (one) year
experience after graduation.
For ICTC Counselors: candidates must have post graduate degree / social
work/ diploma in psychology/sociology/anthropology/human
development/nursing, along with minimum 01 (one) year experience after
pg degree or diploma, of working in field of counseling in health
sector, preferably in hiv/aids
For STI Counselors: candidates must have master degree or diploma in
psychology/ anthropology/ social work/sociology/ human
development/nursing along with minimum 1 yr experience in health sector
in counseling.
For Block ASHA facilitator: candidates must have master degree in social
science/ sociology/ mba/ social anthropology/ economics/mass
communication/ social work/ rural development or graduate in any
discipline with minimum 2 yrs experience in health projects and
knowledge in ms office and internet.
Pay scale: candidates those who have selected for these posts would be given as mentioned below.
For Block Accounts Manager (BAM): Rs 16860/- per month
For Data Processing Assistant (DPA): Rs. 13560/- per month
For ICTC Lab Technician: Rs.13000/- per month
For ICTC Counselor: Rs.13000/- per month
For Blood Bank Counselors: Rs.13000/- per month
For STI Counselors: Rs.13000/- per month
For Block ASHA facilitator: Rs 7500/-+ Rs 1500/- for Mobility per Month
Selection process: candidates would be selected base on their performance in the written exam.
