Applications are invited for a walk-in-interview on January 19, 2015 (Monday) at 10.00 AM in the Conference Room, Centre for the Environment, IIT Guwahati, for one
(1) post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a DBT- funded research project entitled “Molecular investigation of epigenetic modifications in exposure to environmental pollution using Neurospora crassa as a model system” at the Centre for the Environment, IIT Guwahati.
The appointment will be on contract basis initially for one year, which may be extended based on performance.
Qualification and Experience: B. Tech. /M. Sc. /M. Tech. or an equivalent degree in Biotechnology/Life Sciences/Genetics/Related Discipline.
Pay: @16, 000/-pm plus HRA for NET/GATE/BET/BINC qualified; OTHERWISE @12,000/-pm plus HRA. Medical facilities are admissible as per the Institute rules.
Candidates have to appear in the walk-in-interview in person and bring an application, biodata giving details of all educational qualifications and experiences (if any) along with original & photocopies of relevant documents and two passport size photographs.
Selection will be based on the performance of the candidate in the interview. Candidates have to report to the undersigned at 9.30 AM on 19.01.2015.
No separate interview call letter will be sent to the candidates.
